News from a bumper Easter weekend of racing, with Chelmer members in action at events on every day of the holiday weekend.
The event that incorporated the unofficial Chelmer 2up Championships, having provided 5 of the 6 teams on the startsheet, although due to injury Matt Haworth was unable to start so Erron Field rode as a private solo.
In the solos Erron recorded the best Chelmer time with 1.04.05 on a tough day when only Murat Ozdenya was able to get under the hour. Colin Ringrose did well with a 1.05.05 which was enough to come 3rd on handicap and Garry Barton rode home in 1.06.13. Full Results

Also on Good Friday, Aaron Freemon rode to a win in the under 8's race at Castle Combe motor racing circuit, so a big well done to him!

Jonathon Strauss rode strongly in the under 16 event in his debut race, unfortunately he had to retire due to a bout of asthma, but is vowing to come back stronger next time. 2nd Claim member, Matt Clements and Sherilyn Powell also rode well to claim 19th and 24th places respectively. At the same event Tom Durno took a very good 5th place in the E123 race.
Antony Stapleton did a 46.53 to take 3rd overall and 1st vet, Richard
Evans did a 49.30 and John Golder did a 51.50 (beat Newark & Pyne !!!), got
