Well done to everyone who took part, it was a fantastic day for riding and it seemed that most enjoyed themselves, even those who had a few spills in the lanes!  For more thoughts and reflections on the two rides, log in to the forum, and maybe add your own experiences to the tales of courage in the face of adversity on there...

Elsewhere, Dan Babbs continued his early season time trialling form, taking part in Southern Counties races on Saturday and Sunday, with a 27 minute '10' on a tough sporting course course, and knocking over 5 minutes off his '25' PB, again on a sporting course.  Congratulations Dan, already well on the way to your targets, I reckon you'll be setting new targets again soon!  Also Neil Hornett made a brief return to the roads of Essex from his temporary home in Wales to record a respectable '2' on the E1/25 and James Endicott has taken some time off the bike to run the Brentwood Half Marathon in 1.18.34.  A big well done to all!

I'm planning on featuring a weekly roundup every week, so let me know what you've been up to, on the bike or elsewhere at the email address below.
