Members enjoy the Ride Essex sportive
Several of our members enjoyed the Ride Essex sportive from ARU Writtle on Sunday, taking on the 100 km or 100 mile options and getting back against a headwind, before the rain came in.
The recent downpours had washed mud/flint/sand off the fields, so some of the roads were pretty filthy, which caused lots of punctures and kept the mechanics busy at the lunch stop.
Congratulations to everyone who participated, especially Aryan who did his first 100 km ride and Alex for completing his first 100 miler.
