South Downs Gravel
100k on gravel in the South Downs
Carl and Charlie had a day out to do the Glorious Gravel South Downs event. https://gloriousgravel.com/product/gravel-sportives/south-downs-gravel-x/
The weather was fantastic; dry, hardly any breeze, blazing sunshine and very hot!
The ride was a 100k on a mix of gravel, tracks and road, with some big climbs and descents, both on and off-road. The road descents off Beachy Head and Ditchling Beacon were pretty fast!
Thoroughly recommended for people who like hills.
