Chasing The Sun
Peta, Sue and Charlie try the UK North route, and Priyanka takes on Ireland
On the longest day of the year, club members Chased The Sun across the country, from East to West, aiming to do the 200 miles and get to the west coast before sunset.
Peta, Sue and Charlie did the UK North route across the Scottish Borders from Whitley Bay to Ayr, well supported by Jez and Richard, while Priyanka (who did the UK North route last year) flew to Belfast to take on the Ireland route.
A tough day out for everyone, but great routes, some fabulous countryside, excellent weather, fantastic support and genuine camaraderie on route made it a day to remember.
